You Already Know The Will of God
I love Thessalonians 5:16-18. Some of the shortest verses in the Bible, but they pack a punch: “Rejoice always. Pray continually. Give thanks in all circumstances.”
We get so bent out of shape trying to figure out the will of God because we think the will of God is circumstantial. It’s primarily attitudinal. It’s not about your circumstances. It’s about how you handle those circumstances. It’s not aboutchanging your circumstances. It’s aboutchanging you! God is less concerned about what you do and where you go. He’s more concerned about who you’re becoming.
You already know the will of God: rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances. If you are doing those things you are doing the will of God.
